Just curious - there is a thin wooden floor in the bottom of this locker, what's underneath? Wasted space?

My air conditioner blower is in the top of this locker and I keep a small vacuum under that. I don't have a thin wooden floor in this locker.

Some owners have created a portal to access the outside forward portion of the port locker from the head.
I initially thought of the idea, but never executed so I don't have any pictures. Paul J. I believe did?
I believe this was the thread.

let us know, I am NOT that courageous, and if that is worth all the work for what you will accomplish?

That is a completely different area involving the port outside locker. I’m asking about the locker inside the forward V berth

It you remove the cedar panel, there is more open space below, which provide additional hanging locker space

I get that, knowing the limited stowage place, just wanted to give other ideas for utilization of inaccessible space.
