My guess would be that he's replacing the ones on the Irwin 34 that is in his profile.Measure the angle of the deck from level at the point where you will mount the stanchion. You want the stanchion to be vertical. We don't know your boat so we can't give you a good number.

Just curious, what language and dictionary are you using. It certainly isn't English. The proper spelling in English is Stanchions, as seen in all of these results. Also, attacking from the anonymity of the internet is pretty cowardly.
