Standing Water Under Head

I have now traced the source of the foul odor in our head to the space forward of the bulkhead and under the head. When I look in the bilge, I cannot see any drain access for water collecting in this area. I poured some enzyme-based holding tank cleaner into the access port for the head seacocks and did not see any of it seep back into the bilge. Hopefully, the enzymes will take care of any matter that is in that area, but I am concerned about water accumulation if the forward fresh water tank or one of the seacocks spring a leak. Has anyone discovered how this area is drained? I may have a plugged drain and would like to know where to look. Thanks, Norm 1985 C30

May want to pull the head

THe head in my 77 model was held in by 3 screws. These had no bedding nor washer just flush against the plumbing and the plumbing flush against the little step that it set on. There is alot of torque on a rig like this especially if the screws are loose or stripped. If there is a leak in the plastic plumbing it could be leaching down under this plate and into the space described. I am not big on drilling holes in boats so you might remove the intake and discharge hose and the three screws that hold the head down and inspect the underside of this plastic pipe. With an inexpensive borescope you can look down into the space in question to see if it is full of crap. Messy business.
