Just bought one
at the boat show for 360 plus tax. I like it a lot, especially for the price. I obviously haven't used mine yet, but have played with them in the stores all last season.I like the cursor control more than other brands. Also, the screen resolution is much better than the last generation Garmin, for example. Finally, the size is perfect fit with existing instruments at the helm.Remember that to have full charting capability, you have to buy a C-Map cartridge for another $199 or more. The base unit only has a crude map without aids to navigation.I do my primary navigation on a PC with Cap'n and Maptech charts. I'm going to interface that to the CP150. I'll be able to create waypoints and routes on the PC and upload them to the 150, which will be at the helm. So I can get the easiest route creation, then follow them with nice unit at the helm. The new Garmin and Raymarine units are bigger and very nice, but way more expensive.
