Hello,
My boat came with a Standard Horizon CP150 GPS/Chartplotter mounted on a bracket attached to the stainless rail on my pedestal. However, the plastic mounting point on the CP150 housing broke (see the attached picture), and I don't currently have the room/setup to install a flush mount enclosure for the unit.
I'm not ready to buy a new GPS, and technically this one still works great for my purposes...has anyone devised a mounting plate to which they could attach a CP150 (or other chart plotter) via the flush mount screw points (circled in red)? I have no issue if the mount requires some modification, but am hoping to find something as a starting point vs. the trial and error (and probably home-brew look) of a setup that I cobble together on my own.
When I'm done I'm hoping to mount it to the pedestal arch, either just below or just above the instrument pod.
Thanks!
