I want to know how to move or rotate stand up blocks on a mast boot on a Pearson 37. I have several at various angles that I want to move or rotate aroud the mast. They are on a stud or bolt in the rubber boot around my mast boot. My sailing friends and I are not familair with this arramgment. Any body seen them or know how they can be changed?? I could add D-rings but would rather stick to whats there.

I have the same thing on my 1986 P36-2. I have tried to screw them off, but over the years it appears that they are froze.....I started putting a small amount of PB blaster on each one and hope eventually this summer they break free. If not, I am going to remove the entire partner next winter and remove all of the blocks and replace with ones that will rotate. I already priced them from Garhauer.
