Recent heavy snows here have caused my starboard aft stanchion to bend. The base has buckled, allowing a 3/8" gap between the middle of the base and the deck. I called Rudy at D&R Marine, but they don't have any stanchions to fit a 1976 O25. (These have the bails welded onto the base & stanchion tube) They suggested Tops in Quality in Michigan. Has anyone bought stanchions from these guys? I'm hoping to find something identical (or very close) to the original.Could a local machine shop straighten out the base of the one I have, or would metal fatigue mean I'll soon be starting all over? I surely want to fix this before June launch, and hoping to get the stanchion re-bedded quickly to avoid a leak & subsequent deck core rot...Thanks!Sean
