I would get a quart, because it's cheaper per unit of volume, and it doesn't go bad. The stuff is a little pricey, but it works, and it works while you are doing something else. Just make sure you keep it wet. I try not to work in direct sunlight, so it dries slower, and I use less product keeping it wet.
