Still waiting for Spring to arrive... Miserable rain today. Boat not in the water yet as the rigging master was out sick this week. Counting on next Saturday... Keep my fingers crossed..... High tide around noon which is perfect to get to the docking space and taker her out for a spin.... Weather forecast looks ok too... Worked on my trailer today to replace the wooden pads with new ones. Cut lots of 12"x12" pieces of ply and applied penetrating epoxy to all. Such is life....
Well, Hershey II is in the water. Yes the weather was absolutely lousy today ( 46F & Raining)
With the help of some friends at my club we put the mast up. Then I put my outboard & rudder on and launched her.
A friend with a "modified Jeep CJ launched her off the club ramp.
His CJ has a hitch mounted on the FRONT. Makes it easier to maneuver.
When the weather breaks, I will finish rigging my boat.
Probably a shakedown sail on Saturday.
