When were you there? My sister was on the Kearsarge for a while in the 90's

1995-1999 I was AIMD as a CWO, and qualified as underway OOD.

I have one of these with a diffused lens mounted at the top of my mast on the front pointed straight down.

I picked it up to do some testing with it, cause I'm one of their dealers and like to know what I'm selling. It's a pretty spendy light, but just one lights up the entire boat and the immediate surrounding area very well, and draws less than the incandescent anchor light right below it. I use it all the time for messing with the anchor, docking and getting onto the trailer at night, and just for general light on deck when I'm hanging out with friends.

Amp for lumen output, the Dr LED spreader light is a little bit more light. I have one on each spreader, with a combined rating for 1200 lumen, and 15w of power consumption, and I am able to aim one forward and one aft, to illuminate the whole boat.

Just don't ask me what I spent, because it was quite a bit more than $115!
