A dock neighbor had a 23.5 for several years and flew an asymmetrical spinnaker. We had a few discussions about it and he thought it did well and was fun to use.

I can fly it either way. The difference is how you tack. Using the jib halyard you tack like a jib. If I use the spinnaker halyard, you tack off the wind, which is a lot harder to Handle the sheets. Jack
