That's pretty slick!This is a bracket that mounts inside the mast. A thin slot is cut in mast and the 2 halves are inserted into the slot and then pop riveted . You will not pull this bracket off.

Just remember that a mast is made of aluminum and distributing the load is the key should you get into strong winds inside the mast. Mr. Frog, I used long needle nose to hold the nuts. I was able to find one pretty long that locked. Not sure where I found it or who made it. Lost that when closing the buisness
