hi sailors and especially racers. on my c-30 the spinaker downhaul block is way out towards the bow. this causes my foredeck guy a pain. not only is he tripping on the downhaul line, but during a jibe, someone there isn't enough room to swing the pole unless the down haul is completely released.i'd like to relocate the downhaul back to the block, which i am using for the spin halyard, which is a deck mounted block, just a few inches forward of the mast. i am usine a mast mounted cheek block for my uphaul line.what has anyone else done? i don't want to drill any more holes in my boat but was thinking about a double stacked cheek block for both spin halyard and uphaul. however, i haven't been able to find one and donw' know if they are even made.there is an unused sheave at the masthead for another halyard, but i can't use that for my spin halyard cause it in on a block attached to a crane (sometimes called a spinaker bail) which sticks out further than my forestay.any ideas appreciated, jim
