Specification accuracy

Question: I'm about ready to move up from my 25 O'Day to a Catalina 30. The boat I will be looking at shortly claims to be a catalina 30 Tall Rig but claims to have a draft of 3'10". Is it possible this 1985 boat with the tallest rig could also have the shortest draft of any of the listed specification for a 1985 catalina 30'? If all other aspects of the boat are visibly favorable, I will be having a professional survey, but to safe the time, effort and expense, I'd would like to first sort the truth frpm fantasy. Why is this important. On Florida's west coast, draft is important. Thank you
