Good morning all. I would like to soundproof my Catalina 30 Mk 1 mid-engine but don't want to reinvent the wheel. Checked with Search and found no previous threads so I'm asking here. Obviously it's a rat's nest down there; under the sink, the wood panel below the sink needing to be removed to access anything atop the engine so not sure how I'd put in on that, all manner of filters and pumps sticking off the front of the engine box, the Universal 25 parked high on the rails with no room on top, three access doors to check oily bits...But even if I cut the noise down by half it would make a difference.
Has anyone used West Marine's (easily accessible here in Middle Ontario)? I was thinking the 1/2" thick self-adhesive.
Any advice? As always, Thanks.
