If Beneteau hasA wiring diagram for that harness you might be able too get it from a Beneteau dealer, or possibly from the Beneteau spare parts people at registration.SPR@beneteauusa.com. Unfortunately I’m guessing there is no standard diagram for that and that it varies by hull and options.

Can you put a voltmeter on the pin that goes to the yellow wire in the plug? At least that way you could see if it’s switched on and what other set of things you might need to do to enable it.

I also noticed a setting in my chart plotter yesterday to control whether the MFD would set the power of any connected sonic hub devices. It was buried somewhere in the settings menu. You could try toggling that setting to see if it has any effect.

I am late coming to the party here...
The yellow wire in a newer 12 volt system is the ground. If you have not connected it to ground the unit, you possibly have an open circuit...no ground- no power.

Good point in general, but the SonicHub still uses the red/black convention, with the yellow wire as a power switch.

Jason - In looking to confirm my answer to Doug’s point I came across this Simrad page - Simrad Help & Support. The page is targeted toward Lowrance MFD’s, but the same concepts probably apply to your B&G. The most notable thing I saw is the statement that the MFD needs to be powered on to send the wake-up signal to the hub. That has me thinking that the setting I mentioned 2 posts above in the plotter is definitely something to look at. Maybe in your old configuration the Fusion was sending the wake up signal, and now you need to toggle the setting in the MFD so it can send the wake up instead. I’d still put a volt meter on the yellow pin to check it has 12V, and after that check that setting in the MFD.

I'm kinda fascinated by this thread, and I empathize with @JasonFromJersey ; I know how frustrating this can be.

I feel i don't have the full context here, which might help others to help debug this. I have a Simrad MFD and a Fusion marine stereo: a B&G Zeus2 and Fusion MS-RA205. They are on the same NMEA2000 network. The MFD can control the stereo, but the stereo can be controlled independently, too, since it has its own front panel, like a car stereo.

I strongly suspect the Sonichubs were made by Fusion for Simrad.

You also mention a Fusion unit - can you please elaborate?
