Solid Waste Tank

When I asked my boat storage place this spring to pump out my waste tank, they said they tried and that it was "solid". I fear the worst, but is there any way to "break up" whatever is inside there? And if not, what is my next step - - replace the whole tank?Thanks

Inspection Port

It won't be pleasant, but I'd install a screw-in plastic inspection port. That will give you a 4-5" hole through which to see what's going on. My guess is that the outlet is plugged rather than the whole contents being solidified. You should be able to break up the blockage with a wire or small size plumber's snake.
