Snowed over Mississippi beaches

It's a rather unusual sight down here, the beach is covered with snow. We had a grand time running around in it this morning. My son is running his RC jeep through it right now. Happy Winter y'all!

We have the same thing here in Navarre, Florida today. It looks like just sand but when you walk on it you don't sink. It's hard as asphalt. Crazy.

Why not. We just shared some our snow with Mississippi. 5 below here this morning I sure would like to give that away as well.

We should be close to 70F for a high this weekend, so all of our mess will be gone by this evening, I think. Roads here were all closed.. I couldn't have gotten to the boat at Mandeville on the North Shore of Lake Pontchartraiin if I'd have tried.. I rigged for cold weather when I left there Thursday the 23rd, so I know she'll be fine.

It's not too bad here. I've been what you would call snowed in for a couple of days, and am antsy already. I'm super glad I had some canvas projects lined up for bad days, and I'm sporting a newer bimini now. My Frankenstein bimini.

Yea. North side. It is ok. Shallow out pretty far out all along the N side. Can find 8ft. plus of water and many do anchor there overnight. Not well protected. If the wind has a southerly component all is well. When it shifts out of the N during the night, rolly and hard to cook my bacon eggs and biscuits!

This guy was anchored out there a few weeks ago (Don't know about overnight). May be about your size.
