An update...........
After engine service, oil change, injectors cleaned, elbow cleaned.
Hull and prop cleared of all weed & barnacles (diver said prop had a lot).
Engine starts n run fine. Drove boat out of slipway fine. Up to 3,000 rpm all OK but max speed is only 3-4 knots. Try to push revs above 3,000 engine starts to smoke, so back and slowly raise revs in stages. Engine tops out at 3,000 revs but not smoking any more. So at end of day engine not smoking any more but will not rev above 3,000 and top speed 3-4 knots. I am pretty sure that she used to manage 4-5 knots at 3,000 revs. Have asked diver to have another look at hull and prop but he is adamant that all is clear.
Be interested to know what speed others get from their Hunter 326 with this engine.
