My ploy to get SAF (Spouse Aproval Factor) was to print coloring book pages of the panel layout and showed the color pallet for this A2. She picked the best Hers (iirc) and I simplified from five colors to three.

Can you see me now?

It came with the boat. I suspect it’s never been used (!).

I fly it off a Selden bowsprit on a Profurl Spinex.
A joy to behold.

Had a few pix of my boats under spinnaker. ;-) Here’s one I don’t think I’ve posted. Jodi driving in a weekend race!

Our boat is an old racer. It came with 4 symmetrical spinnakers of different cloth weights and sizes. The one we've gotten the most use out of is 1/2 ounce light air chute. We used to use it a lot when the kids were young. On a reach with 10 knots of wind, it's a hand full.

I love solid colored kites. Here's kestrel with 'Big Red', our reaching symmetric.

Our 310 with the Asymmetrical and one with the symmetrical. Our previous J24 with its symmetrical. The 310's chute is the same pattern as the J24 chute. Irish Flags. We did not order the Asym for the 310 so it differs but I like it!

And one of the J24 with a different chute. All of our chutes over the years have carried the Green, White, Orange color scheme.

Don’t cleatvthat sheet. You needed a BIG ease there.
I know, new crew member on the spin sheet, and it way over trimmed to begin with. Can't drink beer and eat snacks while you're holding a sheet. Main trimmer did manage to ease the main without ever setting his beer down, but that probably made the spin out worse without easing the spinnaker at the same time.

Here we somehow found ourselves to windward of everybody with our code zero, when we should have never had it up.
