Yes that breaker can fry but you should be able to check it for continuity with the power disconnected and isolate it right to the breaker

I was looking to see a cross or short any where. Just unplug the boat and check from there.
No need to undo any wiring yet. the two hot wires in each plug should have no continuity to any other wire in either plug

Do you have isolation transformers and A & B breakers in the aft cabin somewhere?

I’m pretty sure that Hunter installs some items right off that 30amp main like the battery charger, CO2 detectors and perhaps some others items.

The grounds are only connected to each other and this is with all breakers off? If so turn on the mains only and recheck

On the bus the green wire is connected to a single bus. the white wires are connected to two separate buses ie A & B. The black wires connect to the breakers.

Yep but we’re looking for a short which could be in a breaker or a device off the breaker such as the battery charger/inverter.

The inverter is connected on the load side of the breaker. Here's a thought. When I went to flip A bus breaker the needle was at 0 amps. I then hit the reset on the inverter. I noticed when I did that the needle on A bus starts shimmying (Spelling?). I then tried to reset the breaker on the A panel. Would the shimmying indicate any concern with the inverter? The inverter seems to be working fine with the generator on.

I know it’s a pain to jump around it as you need to diconnect the input and output and connect them directly to make the panel liv

The shore power goes from the smart plug to the input of the inverter and then the output of the inverter goes to the A side (usually) main breaker
