I have a 1983 Hunter 27.

the power from the dock is OK

my power cord is OK

however, when I connect to the power outlet (port side of cabin), i get no power at all.

is there a power fuse or anything in the panel under the captains table that I am missing ?

Where the cable connects to the boat is called an "Inlet" for starters and the wiring from there should run to a double pole breaker on the AC Panel. If that breaker is tripped, you won't get any juice to the rest of your loads. There normally isn't a fuse elsewhere. Otherwise I would turn the juice off at the dock, or disconnect your cord and start looking at your wiring to see if a connection came loose either by pulling out of a solderless crimped eye or spade, for example, or perhaps a soldered connection came loose, etc. Start with the inlet and then the panel.

There may be a breaker at the shore power inlet. Probably right next to the socket. Also if you have an inverter check if the shore power / sea power source selector switch is set correctly. If all that does not help then pull the panel and after placing one hand in your pocket, probe for power at the main AC breaker. Probes with alligator clips crimped on are handy.

My H280 has a breaker on the inside wall, right where the shore power inlet is. Small, vinyl-coated breaker.....
