Mine! ALL MINE!!! (uh ... and the Admiral's)

This is hull #3360, built in 1979, one of the last Vegas to come off the assembly line. She's a freshwater boat from Lake Winnepesaukee, NH, except for the last two years she spent in Massachusetts. Very lightly used. Hauled out and shrink wrapped every winter.

Nicely done. You are right; people will differ in opinions regarding styling, but there is no doubt that they are sturdy little craft. And great a name as well.

Congrats. I just googled Albin Vega and it looks like a well loved design.

Nice boat. Hard to tell in photo, but if you do not have any support under the keel, get something there.

Very cool! He has blocks under the keel John. I wonder if she backs up better with the rudder forward of the prop..........

Most Excellent! You have to check out Chuck & Laura Rose's videos ... Cruising Lealea. You can travel as far as you like! (You probably already have - they have sold me on that boat, for sure)

Sweeeeeet! Full keel, small portholes, smell offshore passages, Caribbean?
That's the plan ... ;)

You guys are the best! Thanks to everyone!! Cheers!!

Well, now I have to actually go GET her ... she's still on the hard up in MA, waiting for her trailer to be built. Then we'll tow her home to FL and give her a refit. There aren't many weaknesses in the design, but I'll just preemptively reinforce the cabin top and the chainplates, which are the two things people always mention. We're also going to pull the old Volvo MD7A out of her and install this purty lil' Beta 14, which is already waiting in the shed. The Volvo still runs (sort of) but I got such a smokin' deal on the Beta there was nothing to think about.
