True, but then I'd have to re-bed a new track, and probably drill new holes. Garhauer's website doesn't really have any good photos of their traveler's, so it's hard to judge the installation. Also, unless I'm missing it, they don't have any high breaking load shackles, the pricest one I could find on their website was $11 and it looked like the flat metal type instead of rounded. I bent a flat metal one from West Marine on the first day out.
