Yep, Aialik bay.
That photo was taken while anchored in Abra cove at the head of Aialik bay in late september of this year. So in answer to the other question....about mid march through september. Sometime in september the weather in the gulf of Alaska starts to get pretty nasty. However, with a good weather window there is no reason you can not day sail year round in resurection bay. The only thing other than cold that you have to be carefull of is very rapidly changing weather. Last week when we drove down to Seward to check on the boat there still was no snow and the temp was in the mid 40's.
