Set-Up for a CDI FF2 ??

.......... It looks like that cotter pin locking the foil/drum will chew up your sail quickly. Temporary?
Edit- After re-reading your post, the darker photo seems to have the sail tack up above where the cotter would damage your sail.
Thanks for pointing that out anyway. Yes it was a potential problem with the previous headsail, The genoa is raised 1-2" on a large snap shackle (purely because a large one was the only one I had handy) because it has a cloth tape tack. The previous standard headsail had a 'D' ring tack and the 'D' ring was connected straight to the small pin shackle on the drum - this allowed the old headsail to come down lower.

I am not happy with that split pin, due to its potential to damage both sails and peoples arms and legs, and will replace it with a clevis pin ASAP.
