Maybe there's logic in a lifting keel for Mr Buffet (Jimmy, not Warren) given the things that have been written about the stated use of the boat, and a few hours (or days) in, would anybody really care about the comfort of a place to take a nap?

Yes, typically +800 HP and a +20 inch prop. A nice balance of speed and fuel economy. If they are going to bluewater they put two diesels in them and raise the freeboard. These are working boats with lots of deck space.
