second forestay

Howdy, I'd like to add a second forestay to my 88 Catalina 30 standard rig. I have roller furling on the existing stay. Does anyone have any clever solutions for adding a functional second forestay without losing my roller furling capability? I've considered a baby stay but have heard the foredeck won't take it so I think I will have to add a connection point to the anchor roller assembly.CheersRobb

because

I'd like the flexibility of using sails with hanks instead of just being limited to the roller furling, dual headsails running downwind, storm headsail, drifter. Also the security of a backup forestay is reassuring at sea.
