"Haste Makes Waste"
You're right Fred - it's the old Haste Makes Waste thing that grandmother used to say. Trying to get stuff (sails, life vest, and other gear) on the boat and take it down to Brownsville for new zincs. Geting stuff loaded into the car and the blue sky above changes, ... it starts to pour buckets! Go inside and check the weather radar, look at HOW, make a quick comment, go outside, the rain stopped, load some more, it starts raining again,....... but it looks better for this afternoon. At least that's what the forecast was!Gotta leave now and take the tarp off the boat and start commissioning it a bit to make the run to Brownsville. Hope it starts!By the way, the dehumidifier worked GREAT this year - 35%RH at 68F. Can't beat that. Not a sign of mildew anywhere. One of the best investments we've made for the boat.As for Ann - maybe go down to Shilshole and look at the bulletin boards, there's usually names of people posting for work. Obviously the better the references the higher the price so unknown quantities need would need to be watched.
