Sander / Paint removal gut check...

Got the paint on last week. It came out really good I think. I had enough for 4 coats with some left over for the two spots where the stands are.

I mixed the paint with a drill attachment. Worked perfect. It really was pretty easy and each coat only took 20 minutes to apply. It was 85 so the paint dried really quick. Less than 2 hours. I taped the water line with two over lapping layers of 3m fine line 218 tape which came out perfect.

Next is the final coat this weekend and we should finally get the boat in the water over in Hingham MA for Labor Day weekend.

Got the final paint on. 3 coats of VC performance. There are some brush strokes but not bad. I am going to wet sand with 400 and see if that does the trick.

Still need to do where the stands are but pretty much done!

Putting her in the water on Friday for the weekend out in Hingham MA.

Quite a difference before and after.
