We installed a new VHF radio in our Hunter 260. We are now attempting to run wiring from the radio install (just forward the mast compression post) to the cockpit for a remote microphone. There is a Hunter installed conduit in the ceiling starting at the compression post and going back to a point just over the stove in the galley. We have run a snake back through the conduit - but it hangs up at the stanchion just above the stove. If any of you have experienced this 'blockage' I'd welcome any advice on getting around it. (I have been in contact with George Pliakos on this topic ... he said that 1) this is a Bi###h to get through and 2) it is doable. Thanks George!)
Also - Is there a way to thread a wire from the top of the cabin (near the compression pole) abeam into one of the seatees (either port or starboard)? I don't see any Hunter Installed Conduit here ... but it looks like there should be a space to do so. Again - any help would be appreciated.
