Rudder Reference on C270

After measuring and eyeballing I think I can fit the Raymarine Rotary Rudder Reference Transducer to my '94 C270 without problems. There is a spot on each side of the quadrant looks almost perfect for placing a mounting base. Before proceeding, anyone done this install and run into a problem I'm missing ?

c-28 install

Ted, I just finished an install on a C-28 and posted pictures on the Catalina project forum listed above in the message boards. Hope it helps. TJ

Saw that earlier, pretty clever TJ, my install

looks easier (so far), I've made some copies so I can emulate your approach if needed.
