Rudder Post Leaks

When it rains, we get a lot of water into the cabin through an apparent leak at the top of the rudder post. How can we fix this?

Hi I just used some white caulking to make aridge or bump before the post , this directions the water down to the floor after it empties fron the trough around the rear locker (seems to have solved my leaks)
