Rudder post diameter?

Can anyone confirm the exterior diameter of the rudder post for a C30 1987? Thanks, Ghislain

Can't absolutely confirm your '87, but our 1988 Catalina 30 is 2.358 inches. I would think it likely (but not certain) that the '87 and '88 models were the same. There was a change in late '87 to the MKII models. Ours is a MKII. Gary

Go to the International Catalina 30 Association

website. They have schematics for most all C30's. Somewhere in their technical info, you'll find that info along with a wealth of other good info about your Catalina. Think about joining the Association, too. You get a great magazine devoted to Catalinas as part of your membership.
