Rudder post bushings

If Don Magdall sees this, my rudder shaft problem is one of excessive wear. Does anyone know if there are bushings on the rudder shaft that can be replaced? If so, where can I get them?I have a 1973 C-27 Hull No. 852; am planning to haul in mid February for scheduled maintenance. Thanks.

none that i know of but a trick that most guys here in santa cruz do is to drop rudder down and wrap a section of the plastic no parking sign around the post , grease it and slide it back in. you will have to adjust how much is to wrapped. work well. you can get the signs at the hardware store.
