When two individuals refuse to yield you have the formula for a collision. We have several one lane bridges in Harford County. Sometimes we have head-on collisions on those bridges. I was approaching one when a Cadillac barreled across with no regard for the standard courtesy for one lane bridges. Even though he was homicidal I am not suicidal so I gave way as soon I saw that he wouldn't. One of us would have had to stop and he decided that it was to be me.

Reminds me of the two guys meeting head-on on a one-lane bridge. One guys shouts, "I never back up for an idiot". The other one says, "Well, I always do"... and backed up.
