Recently acquired a tall rig catalina 30 which I intend to prepare for racing. Several years ago I raced a catalina 27 and was able to get rig tuning tips from the cat-27 national association. The most important bit of information I received was the length of the headstay. The correct headstay length significantly improved both boat speed and pointing. Does anyone know the best headstay length for the cat-30 and does any one know how I can get in touch with the cat-30 national assiciation. Thanks Don Williams
