Good day all,
It’s been a very long time since I’ve requested your assistance.
The hour meter on my boat quit working. I hired an electrician to repair/replace the unit. He disconnected 2 wires from the power and ground positions.
He returned, a few days later, with a new hour meter from another manufacturer. He told me he didn’t feel well, and hadn’t for several day. He left, without installing the new meter.
I’ve called to ask him to complete the job. Then I called to inquire about his health. No answers.
So, I have the existing VDO Quartz hour meter, model LR155-20, with disconnect wires at the power end and no idea where to connect them.
ChatGTP offers possibilities, but nothing definite. Can any of you captains provide a picture or diagram of exactly where to connect the positive and negative wires.
In case you couldn’t tell boat electronics, beyond lights, is beyond my skill set.
Thank you.
Kind Regards
Tim Hollar “Diablito”
