I am thinking of replacing the mast step on my 1976 C27. The PO put a metal step on that is rusted as well as the foot on the mast. The current step has a swing bolt on it, presumably to lay the mast down while going under bridges. Would you recommend replacing this with an original step from Catalina? If so what kind of job is it to replace. The boat is out of the water. Thank you, Dave
