Replacing a bulkhead on a Bristol 24

Hello all, a pre-sale survey says the port bulkhead needs to be completely replaced. I am handy at boat stuff, but have not attempted this type of repair. How it looks cosmetically I don't care too much.

Have you ever done this? What should I think about before starting? What kind of problems will I run into?
