Replace Traveler on 35S5

I'm looking for information on removing a Amiot traveler on a 35S5 and replacing it with a Harken. It looks like you have to remove the headliner however I was wondering if anyone has any experience that they could share.

Suggest contacting the Beneteau 35S5 owner in post #7 in the SBO thread below to find out how he replaced it with a Garhauer traveler. He posted "it was drop in perfect" OR contact Garhauer Marine, who should have details on that sale OR contact Harken who may have experience on your sailboat.

Harken is good, I have Harken travelers on both my boats. However, their track is proprietary so you'll most likely have to add that cost and additional install time to the budget. Garhaurer is popular with the Catalina crowd and other members here.... but geez... there's so much to choose from... Here's a page from Maui Pro Sailing with no less than EIGHT choices.... I like Lewmar, if you want an opinion.
