I have an Hunter295, its stove is shot and I need to replace the whole unit. Anyone have experience with such a project? Seems, like remove the microwave and access from that cavity.

They probably have the replacment parts if you are interested in taking that avenue. Otherwise you are looking at $1000-1200 for a new unit.

Many of those parts are standard gas stove parts and you may get lucky by taking the bad parts to a good appliance parts store and talking to the guys there. I had to replace my oven thermostat/gas valve and found it was a standard Robertshaw part that Seaward had used. Don't try that unless you are skilled in assembling and pressure testing the resulting work..
Soooo its Electric? Glass Stove top model...2 burner or 3 burner?
Why don't you just replace with the same model?
Or do you just do not like it?
Maybe all it needs is a good servicing and internal cleaning.
If this info helps. I have a gimballed mounted seaward gas range with broiler. 10 years old and bakes better then the oven at home. Love it!
I take more pride, enjoying cleaning and polishing it up then home.
