easy off oven cleaner will help remove most types of paint... but some of the special epoxy or polymer paints it wont do anything for it, and its safe on fiberglass...Does oven cleaner work on paint
the hailing port can be either your home town or the town where the boat is moored... or anyplace else you would like to see named on the vessel. there are probably as many who use their home town as their are that use the name of the town the boat is moored in.... either way, it wont match if you move or moor someplace else, but it will still be legal. The Hailing Port is normally the usual location of the vessel. However, in reality as long as what is on the vessel matches what is on the documentation it really does not matter much.
If you are simply registering the boat with Maryland, you don't need to place a hailing port. That is a requirement of USCG Documentation. Documented boats don't get bow numbers. We will be changing our boat name and adding the hailing port in a few weeks. As a licensed vessel, the only crucial identification on the boat is the alpha-numeric designation on the bow.
However, I'm wondering whether the hailing port should be the location of the marina or the location of our home. I'd appreciate any guidance.
Thanks.
The best way to continue with good luck is to make sure the maintenance is complete and that the crew is sober and fit. What is the minimum needed to do when renaming your boat to continue with good luck . We all know you cannot remove everything with the old boat name on it
