removing wood

What is the best way to remove wood plug so as I can get to the screws that hold the wood on the boat??? thx for any tips.

Plugs

Just run a small wood screw into the center of the plug. Then you can just pop it out.

Get a long sheet rock screw

grind off the head and chuck it in your drill. Just center it in the plug and run it in. The plug will split cleanly and be extracted in the process.
