I agree that sun damage is cumulative over your life so that all that sun we got in our teens is the reason for our issues now. Patagonia does have a few UPF 50 pants you may want to check out (i have not tried them yet so cannot give you any opinions

It may be a while before I show up for a crew gig with Yoga pants and knee pads although that is what I considering that to be good preparation. Weird?

Yes, correct. I think Mexoryl is FDA approved as am anti-wrinkle ingredient but not as a sun screen ingredient. No problem for FDA with lots of folks getting skin cancer here in the US I guess; not my view at all. And I have few wrinkles for someone my age(!!!!)
