I sail singlehanded most of the time. Has anyone relocated the main sheet to the end of the boom so it can be reached from the wheel?

Traveler Lines

Jared, Something less extreme and much less costly for me was to re-route the traveler lines outside the dodger to the stern pulpit for easy access behind the wheel. I ran them out of the traveler to the side, through spring loaded blocks mounted on the coachroof hand rails and back to block/cam cleat combos at the forward stanchion of the rear pulpit. I also routed and cleat my furling line the same way. Although my wife is usually with me she is holding up the bulkhead relaxing so this way I can adjust the traveler without risk of decapitating her. I currently use one of the factory cam cleats on the traveler for a mainsail 2nd reef line and this summer I'm looking into using one or both of them for an outhaul and cunningham.
