Traveler Lines
Jared, Something less extreme and much less costly for me was to re-route the traveler lines outside the dodger to the stern pulpit for easy access behind the wheel. I ran them out of the traveler to the side, through spring loaded blocks mounted on the coachroof hand rails and back to block/cam cleat combos at the forward stanchion of the rear pulpit. I also routed and cleat my furling line the same way. Although my wife is usually with me she is holding up the bulkhead relaxing so this way I can adjust the traveler without risk of decapitating her. I currently use one of the factory cam cleats on the traveler for a mainsail 2nd reef line and this summer I'm looking into using one or both of them for an outhaul and cunningham.Stan"Christy Leigh"c320 #656
