I probably shouldn't say as I'm still waiting for the patent to go through but ..................How did you do the nonskid section on each step?
Feels rough and abrasive under bare foot which is what keeps you from doing the splits or worsevery crafty WOJ, looks good.
RJ, how does your nonskid feel underfoot? looks gorgeous especially
impressive how it is holding up so far
Nothing special as it was an "inside job". First thing that came to hand, off the shelf was interior gloss Varathane. Just wait until is has thoroughly hardened before installing. What varnish did/do you use?
Egads ................ absolutely notAnd then you mixed it with epoxy, right?
I've never been in a position to epoxy over existing varnish so not too sure how it would stick. I'd go slowly and experiment with scrap pieces to see what results you get. Now, since some of my new wood already has multiole coats of varnish on it can I reverse the process and put the epoxy on top of it and then recoat with varnish on top of that? I'm guessing not but it does not hurt to ask.
