not really. I goofed and cut off the transucer wire. It's a coaxial with a banana plug. It's the only plug leading to the Knotmeter. I have a "+" and "-" connectors, but I think these are just for lightning. The old transducer is a throughhull job without a paddle wheel (that's probably why it doesn't work). The paddlewheel attached to transom has 3 wires and is not connected to anything. It looks like the PO tried to somehow splice that wheel to the original through hull transducer. So, I'll either look for an old Ray Jefferson transducer, buy a whole new unit, or simply get a stick knotmeter and/or cheap GPS.
