Rail Mount Bimini

I have a ill-fit bimini on my C27, it works, but definitely not made for this boat. I am interested in a rail mounted small bimini to cover the pedestal area, however, I do not want to spend a thousand dollars. Any ideas? This is for the budget minded sailor who just paid his annual slip fees, OUCH!

the PO of my boat must have gotten his bimini at the same spot, too wide, but it's an aluminum tubing model (read inexpensive) and removing the canvas and drilling the clinches out allowed me to narrow it to fit better, I also replaced the rail mount hardware and tensionining straps, much better fit, more stable, but still a pain as the backstay runs through it.
