I should say, 911 help lol.

Can anyone tell me, if you put a felt mark on your centre board lifting line, how far does the line travel for the CB to go down? I’m guessing 10 to 12 inches. I don’t think it’s too much.

What problem are you trying to solve? Are you wondering how long the lift line needs to be?

Sadly, I have already received the new lines and installed it. I obtained the length from the manual and I did half a** job of measuring it myself prior to ordering. It’s too short. If I knew exactly how far it moved I can decide what to do.

Thanks

I replaced the entire lift line on a 26. And did a step-by-step right up with photos if you think it would be helpful I’ll post it. I don’t remember how long the line was. I guess I would get more than you think you need and then cut it back to the right size when you’re done

I appreciate that. Lift line is replaced, I referred to your write up, thanks.

I just need to know how far the line travels when the CB goes down. :)

I’m not sure that we fully understand what you’re trying to do. You wanna know how long the line is? But you said you made it too short already seems like you ought to be able to just take a tape measure and see how much more in line you need bring it back to the end of the rope clutch add a foot and you’re done.

If it’s something else that you’re trying to do then we don’t fully understand your question
